The Election Day
(September, 19 2004)
In the list of voters were included 8662188 citizens, 4893204 persons of them participated in the voting or 56.49 percents. Outside of the places for voting voted 141715 voters. With the help of the automated information system at the elections on September, 19th 2004 had the opportunity for voting for about 1a million 900 thousand voters. As of 23.30 by the electronic election bulletin voted 353855 voters or 18.06%. As the candidates for the deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament balloted 513 persons. Under the data of the district election commissions the elections were held in all 67 election districts. In 22 election districts: ¹¹3,5,7,8,14,26,27,30,33,40,43,44,45,51,58,59,60,61,62,65,66 will be the repeated voting.
In the elections participated 12 political Parties, 4 of them were in the structure of the two election blocks.
By its Decree ¹141/205 from September, 25th 2004 the central election commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan recommended all district election commissions appoint the repeated voting on election of the deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October, 3 2004.

Repeated voting
On October, 3 2004 in twenty two election districts was the repeated voting. It was held at 2574 polling stations. In all in the lists of voters were included 2 766 465 persons. In the repeated voting participated 1 250 675 voters or 45.21%.
