Information regarding results on regular elections of maslikhats deputies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taken place on August 18, 2007
On August 18, 2007 the regular elections of maslikhats deputies of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place.
9128 candidates have been nominated on the following constituencies : in oblast - 1684; in city - 1898; in regions - 5546; 8740 candidates are registered, including: in oblast - 1609; in city - 1789; in regions - 5342.
8008 candidates participated at elections.
732 candidates are dismissed after registration: 105 by the decisions of the election commissions, 622 by the rejection, 5 have passed away.
Average competition on whole Republic has made 2,4 candidates on 1 mandate.
The highest competition in Almaty and Astana cities (accordingly 3,4 and 3,2 candidates on one mandate), the lowest competition in Atyrau, Karaganda, Êostanay oblasts (accordingly 2,0, 2,1, 2,1 candidates on one mandate).
Elections were hold in 3334 constituencies: in 550 oblast, in cities of Astana and Almaty, in 625 city and 2159 regional constituencies.
As a result of candidates leaving after the termination of the registration terms and no alternates in constituency # 4 at elections on deputy of Sajram regional maslikhat of the South-Kazakhstan oblast terms have been prolonged on the given district and elections are appointed on September 16, 2007.
In connection with recognition of elections void on constituency # 3 at elections on deputy of the Petropavlovsk maslikhat of the North-Kazakhstan oblast on October 14, 2007 repeated elections are appointed.
3333 persons are elected to maslikhats deputies as a results of voting on Election Day. Among them 2764 men (82,9 %) and 569 women (17,1 %), including:
In oblast maslikhats 490 men (89,1 %), women 60 (10,9 %);
In city maslikhats 489 men (78,4 %), women 135 (21,6 %);
In regional maslikhats 1785 men (82,7 %), women 374 (17,3 %).
From elected to oblast maslikhats - 532 deputies with the higher education, 17 with the special secondary, 1 with the secondary education;
From elected to city maslikhats - 582 deputies with the higher education, 32 with the special secondary, 10 with the secondary education;
From elected to regional maslikhats - 1856 deputies with the higher education, 241 with the special secondary, 62 with the secondary education.
484 deputies to oblast maslikhats and cities of Almaty and Astana are elected from DPP "Nur Otan", 5 from KSDP “Auyl”, 7 from public associations, 54 are self-promoted.
511 deputies are elected to city maslikhats from DPP " Nur Otan ", from PPK - 1, from KSDP “Auyl” - 2, CPP - 2, from public associations - 9, 99 are self-promoted
1823 deputies are elected to regional maslikhats from DPP "Nur Otan", from ANSDP - 2, from KSDP “Auyl” - 24, DPK "AK ZHOL" - 1, CPPK - 8, from public associations - 13, 288 are self-promoted.
