First Secretary of the Party-Serikbolsyn A. Abdildin. The Party was registered on 27 August 1998 (reregistration- 20 March 2003).
Party membership is 90 000. The Party branches operate in all regions of the country. The membership is mainly comprised by war and labor veterans,
workers and pensioners. The main goals set by the Party are establishment of conditions for building the society for freedom and social justice in the country, based
on principles of scientific socialism: establishment of the communist social order. During 2004 Mazhilis elections CPK was a part of the election coalition “People’s
opposition union and DVK”, which received 3,44% of the votes and thus not securing a seat in the Parliament.

The chairman is Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbaev. The first vice-chairman is
N. Z. Nigmatulin. The Republican political Party OTAN was established in January 1999 and was registered
by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 12 February 1999. The Party membership is 607 557.
« O tan»has branches in all regions of the country, as well as in cities of Astana and Almaty. Social base of the Party is staff of state-funded institutions,
students, science and culture specialists, representatives of small and medium business. The main goals of the Party are active assistance in implementing economic
and political reforms directed for further democratization of the society; improvement of the living standards of the citizens; establishment of social justice and
maintaining stability in the country; strengthening of interracial and interconfessional accord; development of patriotic feelings to and responsibility for
comprehensive and harmonious development of the Republic of Kazakhstan among its citizens. The OTAN Party has a parliamentary majority in Mazhilis. According to
the results of 2004 Mazhilis elections, the Party had 53 deputies represented (7- as per Party list).

Party Chairman- Gani E. Kasymov. The Party was registered on 4 August 2000 (reregistration-21 March 2003).Party membership is
172 000. The Party has its structural divisions in 12 regions, towns and districts. The Party declares the following goals: formation and implementation of the
national revival of Kazakhstani people; building jural democratic state, civil society with market economy; involvement of socially active population for
participation in management of government and public matters; sustainable development of the country; establishment of high quality of life with the priority to
public health. In 2004 Mazhilis elections the Party received 0.55% of votes which was not sufficient for securing the seat in the Parliament.

61 043. The Party has its structural divisions in all regions of Kazakhstan.The goals of the Party are strengthening of the government regulation and support of agricultural sector; protection of interests of the rural workers: active assistance to implementation of economic and political reforms directed for further democratization of the society; reasonable business relationships in all economy sectors and increasing living standard of citizens. The Party participated in 2004 parliamentary elections; however,
was not able to get any deputy mandates in the Third Convocation of Mazhilis.

The Party has its structural divisions in 12 regions, towns and districts. The Party goals are independent, prosperous and free Kazakhstan.
The fundamental values are democracy, independence, freedom and justice. The Party actively participates in activities of coordination commissions on development of
recommendations for further democratization of Kazakhstan. During 2004 Mazhilis elections the
Party received 12.04 % of votes and has 2 mandates in the Third Convocation of Mazhilis.

Party Chair – Altynshash K. Zhaganova.Party was registered on 6 October 2003 . The Party membership is 72 000. The Party branches operate in regional centers, cities of Astana and Almaty. Social basis of the Party-staff of educational institutions, healthcare system institutions, science and culture institutions, entrepreneurs, students, etc. The main tasks of the Party are economic growth, solutions to social problems, development of society with high moral standards and spiritual wealth. According to
the results of 2004 Majilis elections the Party received 0.44% of votes and is not represented in the Third Convocation of Majilis.

Narikbayev Maksut Sultanovich is a Chairman of the Party. The Party is registered on June 14, 2004. The Party consists of 70 000 people. The party is under construction by a territorial principle and has branches in all regions of the Republic and in the cities of Astana and Almaty. The Party considers it’s
main task to be the construction in Kazakhstan of the legal democratic social state, creation of the effective, advanced and progressive economic system, formation of a civil society. The result of elections to Mazhilis in 2004 the party is 0.76 % of voices at voting under party lists.
In Mazhilis of the third convocation the Party has one deputy elected on one-mandatory district. On July, 8 2007 at the fifth congress of Democratic Party "Adilet" it was
decided to join "AK ZHOL" Democratic Party of Kazakhstan

Party membership was 56,292 at the time of registration, which was comprised of workers, students, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, etc. The Party branches operate in all regional centers, as well as in the cities of Astana and Almaty. According to political platform of the Party, the basis of the Party’s activities of Marx-Lenin ideology adapted to modern realia of social development. The Party had received 1.98 % of the votes during the 2004 Mazhilis elections and is not represented in the Third Convocation of Mazhilis.

The party was established on April 29, 2005 as a result of division with DPK “AK ZHOL” and was registered on March 17, 2006 under the title “Real AK ZHOL”. The number of members comprises 97 157 persons. The party has its brunch offices in all oblasts as well as in cities of Astana and Almaty. “AZAT” is the party of middle class. Its goals are building of democratic, secular, legal and social state and open society, consolidation of the citizens’ efforts in the struggle for building independent, flourishing, democratic and free Kazakhstan. On June 23, 2007 DPK “Real AK ZHOL” made a decision to merge with All-national Social Democratic Party at its third congress. On October 20, 2007 at its fourth congress DPK “Real AK ZHOL” made a decision to cancel the earlier regulation, adopted on the third congress, concerning the merge with ANSDP. On February 29, 2008 at the second meeting of the
forth congress the party was renamed to DPK “AZAT” and on April 11, 2008 it registered this name.

The party consistently is working on realization of values of the international social democratic movement as well as principles of Freedom, Justice and Solidarity in the political practice of Kazakhstan.
